One minute with less input

Turn the phone face down if you do not need it for safety. Mute one sound, leave the room or ask for a two-minute pause. You are not escaping life; you are giving your nervous system fewer things to sort at once.

Then notice three clear contact points: feet on the floor, back against the chair or hand on the table. Quietly describe what you feel without judging it.

  • Let the exhale become a little longer without forcing it.

Choose what is now, not everything that matters

Ask what has a real consequence if it does not happen within ten minutes. If the answer is nothing, make recovery the next task. If something must happen, do the smallest safe version of it.

Put the rest in a simple parking list with no more than three lines. It is not a new plan. It lets your mind stop holding everything active while you take the place to begin.
